I am sure you know just how much your working environment plays a part in the quality of your work. However the cost of a nice professional and practical room is often prohibitive for many therapists or groups.  Therefore my aim has always been to provide such an environment where you will also feel comfortable and only have to pay for the services you need.

Natural Therapy Centre - Bathroom

Facilities:

Free Parking is available in the road (please do not park on the grass verges, make sure you park in such a way that you are not blocking a driveway and that 2 cars can park end to end in front of the houses).

Bus route no 17 on Upham road (Immanuel Church stop) is within walking distance 0.1 mile.

The room has: (see photographs)

• Ground floor access with a ramp for front access
• Wet room with one Toilet, sink and shower are located at the end of the room
• The size is: max 8ft4 wide (2m52) X 21ft3 long (4m46)
•  Capacity: for 2 treatment couches
•  Meetings in a circle 9 chairs
•  Meeting in row theatre style 10 chairs presenter at end of room
•  Meeting with presenter with table or projector centre of room 7 chairs

Tea point equipment:

    8 glasses, 8 Mugs, 1 electric kettle

    Cutlery: 6 tea spoons, 6 large spoons, 6 knives, 6 forks. 1 Small Penknife.

Cleaning equipment is available in the top cupboard at the end of the room

•     1 bowl
•     Washing up liquid
•     Sponge /dishcloth
•     2 tea towels
•     1 small bin in the room - large bin outside - compost pot for tea bags etc
•     Dust pan and brush, kept outside

Other equipment:

    Desk and 3 chairs and one fold out relaxing chair

    Extra electric radiator

    TV stand

    One hydraulic treatment couch with face hole and head part that lifts.

Equipment available for hire on request: 

•    1 microwave,
•    1 CD/tape player
•    Magic flip chart paper that will stick to wall
•    1  Notice board
•    1 TV/Video Player (14 inch Screen)  
•    1 Portable couch
•    1 Projector

Please note it is against the law to smoke in the room, also the use of candles is not permitted in the room.

Cost:

You can hire the room on an hourly rate on an ‘as and when’ or block basis to give you the flexibility and security you need.

Please note a min £20 fee is payable on the first booking and will cover the first hour use and set up fee.

First booking and ad hock sessions      £6.00/hour

Standard room hire fee                         £5.50/hour

Discounted rate for 5hr/month booked   £5.00/hour

Block bookings paid monthly in advance:

2hrs 30 min/week                                £4.75/hour

3hrs 30 min/week                                £4.50/hour

4hrs 30min/week                                 £4.25/hour

More than 4 1/2 hrs/ week                    to be discussed 

For those with an allocated session who need occasional extra time £4.00/hour 

The right environment for you.

Many practitioners work from home or do home visits, however this is not always possible, convenient, desirable, professional, time or cost effective.  Have you considered setting up and packing time, the cost of petrol and wear on the car, the time you may spend in traffic or looking for parking?  Are you being paid your full hourly rate for this?

These were some of the reasons I chose to work from one base, with easy parking and a hydraulic couch permanently set up.
